Growing up, I was like most kids. Playing sports, or outside with friends dreaming of scoring that Stanley Cup winning goal. Hitting the home run to win the World Series. Knocking down that clutch putt on 18 to win The Masters.

That feeling pointed one direction. Journalism.

I ended up living my childhood dream. Covering athletes, finding the human moment inside the competition, telling the stories that mattered.

But somewhere along the way the storytelling found a bigger stage.

And so did I.

What started as a career in sports communications grew into something I never fully anticipated: senior marketing and communications leadership for some of Canada's most recognized sport and not-for-profit organizations. From directing communications for PGA TOUR Canada to 13 years as Director of Digital Marketing and Content at Skate Canada, I've built my career on one simple belief: that every organization has a story worth telling, and that when you tell it the right way, people stop scrolling.

Audiences grow. Donors give. Communities show up. My commitment to mission-driven work deepened personally when my wife faced a serious health challenge. Watching the not-for-profit and healthcare communities show up for us during one of the hardest chapters of our lives didn't just move me. It clarified everything. I understood in a completely different way what it means when an organization's mission is truly lived. And it made me care even more deeply about helping those organizations find their voice.

Today I work as a Fractional CMO and Strategic Marketing Consultant across sport, not-for-profit, hospitality, healthcare, CPG, event planning, petcare and beyond.
